Conditions: The snow is melting slowly, and we just didn't feel like pulling on the snowshoes today, so we came back to a favorite walk from last year. The trail is wide and easy. We didn't do the "loop" today, like we did in the summer last year. Instead, we just went up to the second pond, took some pictures, had some snacks, and headed out. While we were stopped at the lake, we saw some sort of military planes doing exercises. It was interesting - something like mock dogfights.
