Hiked August 12, 2006 by Tim and Valerie
Conditions: This isn't really a hike, more like a fun diversion in the car for a few minutes. Sculptured Rock Natural Area is right off the road. Lots of families with kids there. It's really the coolest thing where the river has worn the rocks into the strangest shapes. There is a place where the water is 15 or more feet deep - kids and adults were jumping in - everyone said that they couldn't even touch the bottom. Of course, Tim gets the idea that he has to do this. He had a "brain freeze" headache for about 12 hours afterwards. Apparently, the water's a little cold. :-)
