Coppermine Trail to Bridal Veil Falls

Hiked: November 3, 2007 by Tim & Val

This was a nice autumn hike to a pretty waterfall.  We parked the car at the Coppermine Road parking lot.  As we walked through the woods for the first couple tenths of a mile, we could still see homes off to our left.  After a short time, we came across the (illegal) campsites that mark the location of the memorial plaque for the "Keeper of Stray Ladies".  We each took turns getting down close to read it.

On to the falls, we sat at the base of it and had a snack.  There is a shelter here, but it looks a little rough, and there are more illegal campsites spread around the area of the falls.  There must be a time of year when it's really hopping back here.
