Arethusa Falls and Frankenstein Cliff

Hiked September 9, 2005 by Tim, Valerie and Tim's dad, Jim

Conditions: Tim and Dad were planning an ascent of Mt Washington the next day, so this is the warm-up hike.  We arrived at Dry River Campground and set up camp, then went across the street for this hike.  There's a nice loop that takes you down to the falls, then up and around to Frankenstein Cliff.  It was a nice day for a walk, and warm enough that the falls felt good.

Stats:  4.7 miles round trip, 1200 ft elevation gain
